Brooke Sutton

Growing up in the Bay Area, I frequently attended SF Giants, 49ers, and San Jose Sharks games. In 2012, I discovered my passion for sports photography with the help of my late teachers Rick Morris and Casey Nichols. This led me to attend Boise State University, which allowed me to have the best opportunity to capture a top-tier Division 1 football team, have access to all athletics, and some of the best women’s athletics in the nation. My time at Boise State set me up for a successful photography career documenting live-action and events surrounding the NFL, MLB, NWSL, and UFC.

Coming into my professional career at the height of COVID-19 came with its challenges. However, I was determined to continue documenting sports through freelancing opportunities. After being with the NFL for almost four years as a photo-editor, I have recently earned a photographer position for the league on the NFL Focus team. From shooting games and network sets, to asset management and live-editing throughout the season, my time as an editor at NFL Media has allowed me to expand my industry knowledge and solidify my overall skills. The advantage of years of editing knowledge in a top global sports organization has helped distinguish and elevate my work from the other competition.

I am open to freelance work and readily available to travel when necessary. I’m a determined worker who strives for success and to further break barriers and stigmas for women working in sports. With stellar work ethic and a passion for story telling through still imagery, I strive to capture images as compelling as “The Catch” that leave an imprint on the sports world for decades to come.
